The ‘blue book’ 2010 has been published.

Now in it's fifth year, this market-leading annual employment survey reports on salaries, benefits and the comparison of attitudes between employers and employees. This year 626 organisations and 1444 candidates contributed to the research for the blue book in the first quarter 2010 revealing recruitment trends emerging in the year ahead.

Some of the latest and surprising discoveries include:

81% of all organisations surveyed believe they are attractive to employees while only 22% of employed staff felt they were well or fairly treated during 2009. Will this have serious consequences in  the months ahead?

53% of organisations are looking to increase their headcount in the coming year, yet only 8% are looking to upskill. Are some companies about to miss out on a once-in-a-decade opportunity?.

The blue book 2010 identifies the biggest threats to recruitment and retention in the next 12 months and some of the successful strategies being adopted by progressive companies to build the optimum workforce to to take their businesses through the next few years.

Existing clients are entitled to a complimentary copy of the blue book 2010. Please contact your consultant for further details.

For more information on the survey findings please contact us, or alternatively you can email us with your query.

The blue book is also available to order through Amazon RRP £300/ €340.
